USC is seeking an experienced Sales, Booking and Marketing Administrator for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena.*

Home to the University of Southern California Trojans football team, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum & Sports Arena combines the traditional and the modern into a premier athletic environment and events venue. Designated as a national and state historical Landmark in 1984, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum boasts a long and noted past. Additionally, recognized as one of the most famous sports monuments in America today, the fabled history of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum spans seven decades and is the only facility in the world to have hosted two Olympiads, two Super Bowls, and a World Series.

The Sales, Booking and Marketing Administrator is responsible for assisting in the overall execution of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena event sales and marketing initiatives, increasing profitability through the planning and execution of direct marketing and analysis, and generating revenue through booking events. This position is also responsible for implementing a multi-tiered event strategy and communications plan for both facilities and driving brand awareness.

Job Accountabilities:

• Work with the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and other departments in planning and executing a detailed facility marketing campaign with the goal of maximizing brand awareness and sales.
• Assist in the development of sales packages, campaigns, sales themes, creative and promotional material and events for the Coliseum and Sports Arena.
• Manage all aspects of marketing related promotions, including, but not limited to the website, freeway signage, social media, media relationships and creative and advertising opportunities.
• Use proactive tactics to strengthen relationships with existing Promoters, develop new prospects and event sales opportunities via self-generated leads and in-bound sales leads via calls or web.
• Responsible for generating and developing new business through leads lists, name collection activities, cold calls, networking events, speaking engagements, etc and work events for the purpose of developing new prospects and servicing customers.
• Assist and advises Event Promoters with their event advertising and marketing campaigns as necessary.
• Present at each event to assist with the management of the event and oversight of applicable sales and marketing projects.
• Set up and maintain up-to-date records for existing and potential Promoters using the Sales and Event Booking software and provide reports to senior management as requested.
• Reconcile invoices, and sales and marketing expenses while managing a budget.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

No set schedule. May have to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
